1 Film - January 20th , 2012 The notes for the daily entry are from the film, John Ford’s American West. Students will turn in their assignment from watching McLintock and Sagebrush. Students will learn about the importance of the action film and what role they played during the 1940’s. They will also learn about John Ford as a director and the vision he held for films.

2 Your Assignment – Due today.
Create a T chart of comparisons and contrasts of the two movies, “Sagebrush” and “McLintock”. Use complete sentences. You are expected to write 20 statements total. The statements should not be too general, but should be specific.

Wedge - Mix the clay, push out the air Mold - Forming the clay into a shape (coil, pinch, or slab) – tell the steps for coil, pinch or slab. Air-Dry - Clay becomes bone-dry. Fire the clay in a kiln to form bisque. Glaze the bisque ware and let it dry. Fire the clay in the kiln again. Finished piece of pottery
