3. Who is Mr. Ciraulo?
•  I've been a teacher Since 1986 (6th Year at Maywood)
Taught for 10 years in Juneau, AK (middle school for 8 of the years)
Taught the SAGE Program for 10 years(ISD's Elementary Gifted Highly Capable  program)

• Married to my wife, Terry, for 25 years • Granddaughter-Amelia (14 years old) & Grandson- Zaiden (11 years old) • I’m also the Pastor of Calvary Chapel Maple Valley

First Unit:
CC6 – Prime Time (Properties of whole numbers - factors, multiples, divisors, products, prime and composite numbers, common factors and multiples, the Distributive Property, and Order of Operations.)
Textbook
Class set for use by students at school
Each student has a copy for home use all year long.

CC6 HW SITE: What’s going on in class? Answer Keys for HW. Samples and links to online help. (Updated daily )
Class Journal: (graph paper) What’s going on with my child today? Are they understanding and keeping up with the HW?
Family Access: What’s my child’s grade? Assignments turned in? (Updated weekly)

8. Grading Policies 75% of Grade - Tests and Quizzes
There are 7 units.
Unit Tests
1-2 Quizzes each unit
RETAKES: offered on tests only; highest of the two scores; only the sections needing it.
25% of Grade- HW, CW, Participation
Work will be graded on effort and accuracy completed in pencil in the students’ spiral notebook
Student participation, teamwork and classwork are the daily expectation
Partner Quizzes, exit tickets, online activities.

Staffed by a rotating Maywood Math Teacher
2:40 pm – 3:40 pm in Room 203
