4 Staging challenges How to tell the rationale and objectives of the session? How to make the phase of design process understood? How to tell the how the results of collaboration are going to be used? What is the relevant background information? How to communicate that so that it is comprehensible for different participants? What are the identified interesting paths of exploration? How to focus attention to those without limiting the scope of ideation? How to underline the importance of the project and create relaxed atmosphere? How to find balance between goal orientation and free creativity? How to respect, empathize, stimulate and challenge the participants? How to combine leaning of the participants’ domain knowledge and breaking their old fixed patterns of thought? How to make the props flexible in case of surprises during the process? How are the results documented and analysed?
