2 What Are Scholarships? Scholarships are grants or payments made to support a student's education, awarded on the basis of academic, or other achievement, such as service.

3 Where Do Scholarships Come From?
Annual Membership Dues Membership dues go into the District and International Budget The more dues received, the more scholarships can be fit into the budget! Kiwanis CNH Foundation Scholarships are also given to members by the Kiwanis CNH Foundation

4 Sponsoring Club/Division Scholarships
Make sure to reach out to your club’s sponsoring Kiwanis club to inquire about scholarships! These scholarships may be given to a specific club or to the entire division.

5 CNH Foundation Pediatric Trauma Prevention Grant Programs
CNH Key Club Scholarship $20,000 scholarship Based on service Must be a High School Senior and a Member in Good Standing CNH Key Leader Reimbursement Scholarship Must be Member in Good Standing Must have registered, fully paid, and attended any of the Key Leader events during the Key Club term If selected, recipient will receive reimbursement for 1 Key Club member, on-time registration fee. Pediatric Trauma Prevention Grant Programs Grants will be given for service projects which seek to prevent and/or treat pediatric trauma – defined as sudden, unintentional physical injury. Applications must be submitted at least 30 days BEFORE project start date. ** A member in Good Standing is a Dues Paid member

6 Youth Opportunity Fund
The Youth Opportunities Fund (YOF) is a fund for Key Club International held within the Kiwanis International Foundation. This fund uses earned interest to support Key Clubs and Key Club members serve the world by providing grants for service. Any club or member can apply, and there is only ONE funding cycle per year. The fund also provides academic scholarships for higher education. The application must be received by October 15 at 11:59PM EST each year. *Application must have all signatures, or it will be rejected.

7 International Scholarships
Requirements: A signed and dated original hard copy of a completed application An official transcript 2 letters of recommendation A 200-word essay describing how your studies will help you achieve your goal while benefiting the lives of others. Linda Canaday Memorial Scholarship: One US$1,500 and one US$1,000 scholarship Harry S. Himmel Scholarship: One $500 scholarship Cunat International Scholarship: One $2,500 scholarship
