2. Attention Seniors: yearbook signing lunch jam
There will be a senior yearbook signing lunch Jam on Friday, May 12th during all 3 lunches.
If you have not paid, please make sure you see Ms. Usher in the attendance office.
The cost for the lunch Jam is $10 if you have not paid your senior activity fee dues.
Money for lunch Jam is due Wednesday, May 10th.
Please be sure to check the website frequently for further updates as well as Senor class events calendar.

3. Attention Seniors For the week of May 8th-12th
Monday – Blackout/Windbreaker
Tuesday – Your college day
Wednesday – Lit T-shirt
Thursday – baseball tee
Friday – No limits t-shirt

4. Seniors Senior field day is May 24th
if you have not paid please make sure you pay $35 to Ms. Usher in the attendance office no later than Wednesday, May 17th

5. FBLA Members
If you participated in any FBLa activities this year, please join for the annual FBLA Awards meeting.
The attire is black pants or skirt and white top.
The meeting is on May 15th in the library media center after school.
Refreshments will be served.

6. Helen ruffin reading bowl
Students who are interested in participating in the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl competition for school year, there will be a meeting on May 22nd at 3:30 in the Library media center
If you are unable to attend on that date, please see M. Daniels in the library

7. Chalk 1 up for safety!
Please congratulate the following students for their participation in the chalk 1 up for safety art contest held at the state of Georgia capitol
Teacher: Dr. Clinton, Art
Students: Trammel Crowley, Tabitha Poythress, Daythia Mock, Shaunterria McQueen, Torren Thomas, Dalia Ottley, Makayla Bagger, Kennedy Kilpatrick and Amber Paige
These students were commended for their fantastic drawing, and won $250 first place prize in the high school category.
Congratulations Bulldogs!

8. Attention Juniors NHS members
Community service logs are due by May 1st before 3:30pm to Mr. Venukadasula in room 227

9. Attention all students
Early release forms must be returned to your 4th period teachers by Wednesday, may 19th.
All forms will be verified before you will be allowed to participate in early release.
If you have siblings at the school, only one form is needed per household.
Seniors will not need to complete an early release form.

10. Boys Varsity Soccer Team
The boys varsity soccer team beat Statesboro high school by a score of 2-0.
Goal scored by ocean curving and a goal was scored by anyo afon.
The boys varsity soccer team will continue to the second round of state playoffs this Wednesday night.
Also, congratulations to Ashani Paul and Ocean Curving for making the All Region 4-AAAAA team 1 soccer team and congratulations to Destiny Ngezem and Anyo Afon for making team 2.
Jordan Nembhart and Xavier Ward also received honorable mentions for this year’s winning season

11. Spanish Tutorial
All students enrolled in Spanish classes, there will be a morning tutorial at 7:45-8:15 on Monday, May 1st and Wednesday May 3rd.
There will also be afternoon tutoring on Tuesday, may 2nd at 3:40-4:40pm.
