2 INTRODUCTION Millions of children, in the United States, are living without parents. The number of parentless children has increased from 3.7 percent in 1980 to 4.1 percent today in 2012 The Orphan Society of America “our mission of the child welfare system is to preserve families and protect children and to provide social and educational support to orphans”.

3 The Orphan Society of America (OSA) is an organization that focuses on three main concerns to help the lives of orphans. First is to gain understanding of the experience of orphans and caregivers in the United States. Second is to increase understanding of the needs of orphans and their caregivers. Third is to review, collect, and analyze data on the statistics and experiences of orphans in the United States.

6 COMMUNITY Donations By becoming Foster Parents Social Workers
Social Service Agencies Volunteering Can Help a child without a Home or a Family

7 CONCLUSION With Orphan Society of America (OSA) we hope to change their lives with a promising future Without Orphan Society of America (OSA) there would still be homeless children without parents out there in the world.
