1 Ready Or Not (Paid Per View Music Video For “Everyday Grime”)
Professional Practice - Maxwell Charlesworth u

2 Ready Or Not Role I took place in – Cameraman.
Creating music videos for online music channels and/or record labels is a great way to get work when working freelance. Music video starred “Mikey C” a UK rapper with a name for himself.

3 Ready Or Not Music video to Song: Mikey C – Ready Or Not.
Filmed in tunnels in East-London. Music videos of this genre are often filmed in areas like this, which works out great for us; considering the location which we study/live in.

4 Filming My main role of production was cameraman and this consisted of planning shots, and filming on the day. To get a broader knowledge of what rap/grime videos looked like I researched a various range of different rappers music videos. This helped get ideas for camera shots, angles and movement. Filming a music video for a big well known channel/record label was a lot of fun. We filmed the whole song a good number of times start to finish in the same tunnel location, this would come to give the editor lots of options when editing.

5 Marketing/Sales We contacted a range of big online Channels and/or Record labels to see if they would upload a video of ours with a Pay per view agreement if the video became popular enough to qualify for this. A lot of websites like “YouTube” offer this service and is a great way for video makers to make money. “Everyday Grime” are a big name in the genre. They, and we, were most keen on working together.

6 EVERYDAY GRIME PAGE LINK - Everyday grime is a channel with millions of views and thousands of subscribers. They upload music videos and other grime/rap genre videos. You can earn up to £2000 per million views on a video online. We spoke to Kieran Westlake the owner of “Everyday Grime” who agreed to have a make a video for the channel, which if got popular, would result in a pay-cheque. He was very happy with the work we produced for him.
