Was a veteran; a hoplite that apparently was fearless in battle!
Created the Socratic Method—or a questioning technique that is still used today.
His way of thinking led him to believe that attaining true wisdom is the only way to create a government that is neither a democratic government nor a tyrannical government. He always believed that individuals with greater understanding and knowledge can run a government more efficiently.
Apparently he never bathed!
Based on human reason, he always said that only when a person knows himself or herself, he or she can attain ultimate wisdom.
Socrates HATED democracies….. Why let uneducated people vote?
Today, we look at a democracy is an ambiguous good but it is only ever effective as the educational system within it. Boy, are WE in trouble..!

Summarize: According to Socrates/Plato, what change must happen for the governments of the world to become more fair and just?
