Introduction 1.  Parachute Ayurvedic launched in 4 southern states, 4 years ago 2. Recommendation model to promote the same was launched which succeeded but lost momentum Present Situation - Get more hair fall cynical people to try it and recommend others - Get new entrants in this category Project Deliverables - Lack of momentum - High costs of servicing the sample to the consumer.  Project Failure reason

4 Solution: A 3 Phase Model
Phase 1: Launch Launch Parachute Care App(As most of the people now-a-days have access to smart phones) Make few outbound calls to invite people to install app to try Parachute Ayurvedic Once they install App, a invite code is generated(or E-coupon) which they can show to any nearby shopkeeper to get their free hair oil bottle sample Shopkeeper can login as retailer to Parachute care app and enter the codes for which they have given free parachute bottles. Phase 2 : Retain Customers who tried After 30 days, an outbound call goes to customers which says if she liked the product and would like to recommend to 3 close friends Or They can simply recommend their friends by clicking invite friends option on Application. Friends receive invite through message Phase 3: Get new customers People who receive invite, they are required to install app if they wish to try the product. Once they install, they get invite code which they can show to shopkeeper and get their product. And the chain goes on.

What More… This model makes it easy to keep track of free samples given No extra logistics cost to be bear by company for shipping samples and so high costs of servicing the sample to the consumer is eliminated Cost of outbound calls can be decreased or even eliminated by putting everything on Application. A new tab called check Doctor’s Recommendation can be added in application: Any parachute user or new customer can check for testimonials by trustable doctors Testimonials by fellow hair fall sufferer can also be added : How they felt before and after using Parachute Later more tabs can be added where details about other Marico products can be provided Benefits and Added features
