20 SC Government All of these events led to the Government of SC becoming more democratic!! However, representation in the General Assembly was still unbalanced so tensions between the back country and the lowcountry continued.

Examine the advantages and disadvantages of a Royal Colony. Would you rather live in the backcountry or lowcountry, explain your answer? Explain why the Royal Colony failed at government? What was the Regulator Movement and explain whether or not you agree with it? Why do you believe that the governor came to aid the backcountry? Even after SC shifts to a more democratic government, does the life of the colonist improve?
