To be able to identify 5 orchestral woodwind instruments by sight and sound.
To be able to describe the characteristics of each woodwind instrument and how they produce sound.

3. The orchestra is made up of 4 families of
instruments:

Percussion
During this unit, we will learn about the
Woodwind family of the orchestra; how the
instruments sound, how they are played
and how to recognise them.
