1. Patterns of ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS)
Patterns of ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS). There is tremendous diversity of the architectural and nuclear features of DCIS. Common patterns include cribriform (A) where the tumor cells form sieve-like architecture and micropapillary (B) where the tumor cells form micropapillae without fibrovascular cores. High-grade solid DCIS (C) is also demonstrated showing solid arrangement of tumor cells within the duct.
