It can come before the verb as a subject.
It can come after the verb as an object.
Examples:
To translate means to change the text from one language to another.
I love to study.

5. Present Participle A verb form that works as an adjective (verb+ing)
It can come before a noun (most of the time).
Examples:
Moving cars are dangerous.
To make tea, you need boiling water.

6. Past Participle
A verb form that works as an adjective (Past form of the verb: ed / irregular form)
It can come before a noun.
Examples:
Broken glass is dangerous.
To make salad, you need washed
vegetables.
