Editorial meetings are a must Readership follows ridership Set consistency standards (for yourself, staff and audience) Key into trending topics Have an idea about how you plan to share on social

3 Boomerang What brings people back to your blog, back to engage on ALL your social media accounts? On a daily basis… weekly… monthly… Stop and think. What am I doing now that fosters engagement, discussion? Can this be expanded? Moved in a different direction? Is there “exclusive” content you can provide to a particular social media account? Remember to ALWAYS view engagement from the passenger’s point-of-view.

4 Applying Analytics Like your car, your brand (and your voice) requires regular maintenance. How is your blog and your social media accounts performing? Are you targeting the correct audience? Look into demographics, location? Can content be tailored? What about paid-to-play? You can’t count on organic growth to lead the charge. How’s your unique and return visitors? Bounce rate?
