9. Being Prepared It is crucial to be prepared each day in class.
Bonus points will be given out weekly for students who are prepared for each class. These points will be distributed in the grade book!

10. LIFE SCIENCE!!!!
Some topics this year: Cells, Genetics, Plants, Animals, Ecology, Evolution
Students use an interactive notebook so be looking for that to come home to use to study.
Lots of inquiry based activities and labs this year.
Make sure you have signed their lab safety form.

Using the tools at your table and your peers:
Measure the dimensions of your desk
Draw the desk with the measurements
Find an object in the room to measure the dimensions of. Make a drawing with appropriate labels.
Measure the mass of the textbook
Measure the height of each student at your table
Graph your findings
Make 5 observations of the classroom

14. Safety Rules
Find a piece of safety equipment and make a poster to hang up.
You must have at least 1 rule or guideline regarding the piece of equipment.
