Develop a blimp for the SSCL that can be flown outdoors for research and outreach events System Summary

3 Functional Requirements
Vertical lift capability up to 500 feet Wireless control/interface up to 1500 feet Additional payload lift of 7 ounces minimum System fly time of no less then 20 minutes Fly and maneuver in up to 10 mph Balloon lift potential between 80-90% entire system weight GPS and pressure sensor to determine position

The microprocessor will: Send and receive data with Base Station Receive data from GPS, Compass, Rate Gyro, and Pressure Sensor Send propulsion signals to ESCs Currently implemented Send data from microprocessor to Base Station Send data from Base Station to microprocessor Send data from GPS to microprocessor

3/18/11 – Labet onboard logic complete 3/18/11 – Basestation code complete 4/8/11 – All Testing complete
