2 What is planning a project?
It’s elaborating plans with the available elements. These plans must be based, defined, oriented, assessed and controled. The fact of planning has allowed Mankind to solve almost the total amount of our problems. Planning is one of the key functions in the companies and organizations. It appears as the projection of the objectives, intended to achieve with the appropriate methods. 3.0

HOW TO PLAN? THE AVAILABLE BUDGET Although in your project, the labor workforce cost will not be considered as a cost, you have to take into consideration that tasks have to be done through the best possible way , economically but without loosing quality. ANY HUMAN WORKS INVOLVES A COST 3.0

15 THE FLOW DIAGRAM OR THE PROCESS DIAGRAM
HOW TO PLAN? THE TIME TO MANUFACTURE OR DELIVERY TIME IT’S COMPULSORY TO KNOW HOW MANY TASKS HAVE TO BE DONE. TASKS CAN BE LISTED BUT SYMBOLS AND GRAPHICS , IN THE WAY OF A DIAGRAM, CAN BE USED AS WELL: THE FLOW DIAGRAM OR THE PROCESS DIAGRAM 3.0

16 THE FLOW OR PROCESS DIAGRAM
Observe how each figure contributes with information!! Squares inform of a task: screwing, assembling, cutting, etc. Circles are meeting points for the different paths that converge on the same point. Diamonds are decision points, points of quality control or inspection times. They usually have two possible answers (yes / no) (Accept / Reject), etc. Arrows are transitions between tasks and might indicate the transportation of material as well. The termination of a flow diagram must be specified with an explicit message. End of activitiy 3.0

THE GANTT DIAGRAM THE TIME TO MANUFACTURE OR THE DELIVERY TIME IF THE TASKS TO BE CARRIED OUT ARE KNOWN, THEN IT’S EASY TO DISTRIBUTE THE WORK TO DO AMONG THE MEMBERS OF A TEAM AND THE TIME EACH TASK TO LAST CAN BE FIXED. 23 HOW TO PLAN BY GANTT DIAGRAM
… and using the estimated time to execute each task, a group of people are designed to make each task as well as determining the execution time. The amount of people assigned will depend on the complexity of each task. 3.0

For instance, one the member 3 has finished to mark the board, he will be available to start marking the length of the legs, while members 1 and 2 are cutting the board. 3.0
