Combined Vehicle ID and Mileage Transfer
The Jigsaw Midas system automatically identifies the vehicle and driver and passes the current mileage accurately to the fuel island control system.
When fuelling is complete, the vehicle and driver id, along with the mileage and fuelling information is passed immediately to the system web site.
Simple and reliable Operation
Using the system couldn’t be more simple. Each Driver or Fueller is issued with a Midas Touch key which identifies them to the system. To fuel, the user simply touches the key on to the Vehicles Midas reader, then on to the fuel island controller. That’s it ! All data is passed in the two touches – no need to remember the vehicles mileage – no need to type it in to the system – no more mistyped information.
Mixed Fleet Types – No Problem !
It may be that automatic mileage capture is not required on every vehicle. That isnt a problem. The system can have a mix of key types where some will only allow fuelling after being touched on a Midas reader, and other types which allow conventional access where mileage is typed.
The system supports mixed driver and fueller operation. Driver operation is where each driver has a Midas key of their own which they use to fuel any vehicle they drive, but must be touched to the Midas unit first. Fueller operation is where one key is used on many vehicles. If the key is not touched on a vehicles Midas unit first, then the fueller is prompted to type in the vehicles registration number and mileage.
The system can support both miles or kilometre odometer recording, or for plant or static equipment, hours run.
