B Create a gap between the door and jamb by driving the adz or fork end of the Halligan tool between the door and frame 6 inches above or below the lock. JPR 17-2B

C On tight doors, the gap may be started with the fork end.

D If door is tight, work tool up and down to open up gap.

E Set the tool by driving the adz or fork
end past the door around the doorstop. JPR 17-2E

G Force the door by pulling the
tool away from the door. JPR 17-2G
