4 VIRCLASS- Financial model
Institutional fee – all partners – for administration of the Consortium by HiB The fee depending on the number of partners (sharing the costs) Total costs for 2009/10 €28476: Partner fee: NOK /€3164 (9 partners) Each partner have to offer teachers and assessors to the courses Partners pay travel costs and accomodation for meetings Total number of students from all partners that can attend the courses: 85 students

5 Decentralised administrative model
Consortium Management Group Elected chairman (meeting once a year + online meetings when needed) A leading institution (change every 3rd year) Consortium leader – daily leader A Steering commitee Coordinator of Education (includes VIRCLASS + SW-VirCamp modules) Coordinator of Research Coordinator of Developmnet Daily Leader – Coordinator of the Virtual Campus Administration (and webportal?) (or one Coordinator of Web Portal – from the leading institution) Decentralised intake of students – Each partner institution administrates the application of their own students. HiB gives access to it’s learning

6 Decentralised administration - Financial model
Institutional fee to the leading institution for 300 working hours a year (including web portal administration) Approximately? €13800 (depending on the staff costs of the administrative partner) Partner fee with 12 partners: €1150 + VITERO rent, rent web-hotel, cost for adverticements Partner institution will offer teachers and assessors to the courses. Provide the Consortium with staff for the coordinating posissions

8 Recommendations for the SW-VirCamp future organisation
The Steering Commitee recommend the Consortium to attend the Decentralised model for administration and finance The new Consortium Agreement will be in line with this model. By the Consortium Meeting in Aug/Sept 2010 the new consortium agreement will be signed by the partners HiB continue as the leading partner for 2010/11 The new decentralised model will be activ from the end of the SW-VirCamp project period. Before the end of this EU project a decision is taken about which institution that will take over the leadership for 3 years from 2011/12 By 2011/12 all partner institutions have integrated the ”international BA” possibilities as optional ECTS credited courses in the social work BA programme.
