Interpretive : vocabulary, reading, grammar Interpersonal : pair work, interview, group survey, games Presentational : individual presentation, group presentation

8 Communication Oriented & Task Based
Textbook: Learn Chinese language and culture through engaging lessons. A storyline about a diverse group of students strings together all the dialogues. Students are curious about how things develop among them. Character Drawing and presentation: Learn new characters. Worksheets: Improve listening, speaking, reading and writing through a wide range of exercises accompanying lessons.

16 Making Appointments (约时间)
Answer a phone call and initiate a phone conversation; Set up an appointment with a teacher on the phone; Ask for a favor; Ask someone to return your call.

Comment on one’s performance on an exam; Comment on one’s Chinese character writing; Talk about one’s experience of learning Chinese vocabulary and grammar; Remark on typical scenes from one’s language class.
