6. How is High School different?
5 period day– 3 trimester schedule. Most required classes are 2 of the 3 tri’s.
Most electives are every day for one trimester of the year. (Music is all year).
Graduation Requirements- classes that must be passed to graduate.
Electives can be mixed- grades.
Less extra credit- more deadlines

One 5-digit number takes up one box.

World Language? (2 boxes) C’s or better for level II. Need to sign up for both part A and B. Haven’t had a language yet? You can sign up for a level I class.

Choose 6 alternates and fill those in. Alternates are to give us some 2nd choices in case your other classes don’t work.
There is a high chance you will receive some of these alternates!

18. Course Entry using AHConnect
You will be able to enter your own requests from home using YOUR AHConnect log-in.
There are directions on the worksheet.
Enter your requests by next Friday the 13th.

19. Come to Parent Night Monday, January 9th
6:00 A-K meets in Auditorium for presentation
6:30 L-Z meets in Auditorium for presentation
After your presentation head to gym for teachers/depts/ questions
This is an informational night, if you cannot attend you’ll just need to make choices on your own.

20. Turn your materials in
We’ll return to Oak View on January 13th to collect the Registration Worksheet during Pride. If you are absent you should turn them in ASAP to the office.
