2 Headphones People use headphone for many reasons. Music Youtube Videos
Snapchat Studying Skype/Facetime The most used headphones. Beats On average how much headphones are usually? Around $30 This is the first pair of headphone ever made.

3 Source The source is responsible for generating a message signal.
In this case with headphones, the source would be whatever the music is coming from. Such as: A computer, phone and or ipod.

4 Encoder The encoder is a device, program or person that converts the information from one format or code to another. When you press “play” on the song or video the song or video encodes and goes through the wires in the headphone and into your ears.

5 Transmitter A transmitter is an electrical device that produces waves and sends the waves or electrical signals off using an antenna The transmitter in this case would be the wires because the electrical waves go through the wires and into your ears.

6 Receiver A receiver is a device that receives electrical signals or waves by connecting with the transmitter to send them to the decoder. In this case the person would be the receiver because it’s receiving the music through the electrical waves.

7 Decoder A decoder is a device that converts a coded signal into one that can be used by other equipment. The decoder in this case is the headphones because it converts the radio waves into music

8 Storage Storage receives and stores messages, information, pictures, etc. The phone would be the storage because the phone holds all your music or videos that you’ve watched.

10 Why are headphones important?
Headphones are used for many reasons but mostly for listening music and not having other people hear it and bother them. For a little privacy as well, and to relax and listen to your music while doing: Homework, long car rides, studying, or facetime/skype.
