Scholarship: 85% or better in all core classes

2. Timeline - Tentative
August: Letters of invitation will be distributed based on semester 2 performance (2016)
September: Applications and recommendations due
September: Selection and rating process by SCS NJHS council
September: Letters of Acceptance/Rejection distributed
September: Dress rehearsal for induction ceremony
September: Induction ceremony

3. Process for Selection Students who are interested must complete
an information sheet and get two recommendations
One recommendation must be from a teacher
One recommendation from an adult who is not a family member who knows you in some sort of capacity other than school

4. Process for Selection
SCMS staff council will evaluate all students who have completed an information sheet and an anonymous faculty council will select inductees for the NJHS (Ms. Fournier is not a part of the selection committee)
Inductees will receive a letter of acceptance
Induction ceremony and rehearsal are mandatory.

5. Membership Fee
There is a one time $10 membership fee. This fee is used to purchase NJHS pins and ID cards.
