2 Timeline February 4: Letters of invitation will be distributed based on semester 1 performance February 18: Applications and recommendations due February 23-26: Selection and rating process by SCMS NJHS council March 3: Letters of Acceptance/Rejection distributed March 8: Dress rehearsal for induction ceremony March 10: Induction ceremony

3 Process for Selection Students who are interested must complete an information sheet and get two recommendations One recommendation must be from a teacher One recommendation from an adult who is not a family member who knows you in some sort of capacity other than school

4 Process for Selection SCMS staff council will evaluate all students who have completed an information sheet and an anonymous faculty council will select inductees for the NJHS (Ms. Fournier is not a part of the selection committee) Inductees will receive a letter of acceptance Induction ceremony and rehearsal will take place the Tuesday and Thursday before Spring Break. Attendance at both is mandatory.

5 Membership Fee There is a one time $10 membership fee. This fee is used to purchase NJHS pins and ID cards.
