Tested first at 25 kids, with remarkable efforts Tested by 50 schools, primairy, secondary and higher Feedback has been used to make this final version you will play today

I ask you to play the different games Questions when something isn’t clear Discussion after 30 minutes about the games I am eager to know your experiences Will you use it in your lessons? Which moment is the best moment to use a game?

8 Calculate and Match (Dutch: Rekenduo)
The calculation is divided in four parts of different calculation themes Basic countings (pink), context (blue), measures and geometry (green) and relations between figures (orange) Every match contains a question and an answer, that’s a match You start with all the cards face up Later you can play face down as memory With the answerpapers de players can check themselves It’s activating co-operative working between players Players are surprised about their progress The games are made in four levels

10 Cijferstorm Cards with numbers from 1 till 20
The level of the players determined the numbers to use Colors are not important, they will be used with another variety. Every player gets 10 cards All the other cards are stacked in the middle and one card will be opened, that’s the target. The player left is starting with the opened card This player has to count with his cards (using 2, 3 or 4 cards) and has to reach the target. The last card is the new target for the next player. The player that played all his cards out (no cards left) is the winner

Like the card game Extra: the parenthesis can also be used Four levels Two playing times, 180 sec or 360 sec Playing all the cards (no cards left) 5 points Seconds left bonuspoints Top 10 and top 100 scorelist In development: multiplayer, players are playing against each other Teacher can make a group and follow their own players

We will switch every 5-7 minutes Discussion after 30 minutes In every ALM-goody bag you will find an envelope with examples of “calculate and match” (=Rekenduo)
