1/6/15 Warm-Up: Take out a piece of paper and write the date. Write 3 things you think you will study in environmental science. ESSENTIAL QUESTION How is environmental science defined and what is its significance? How has environmental science changed through the years. AGENDA Review syllabus and safety procedures (due Friday) Intro video (1.5 min) Earth finger tip toss activity Preliminary Vocabulary Activity Assessment: formative assessment of students’ definitions of environmental science based on stories written Differentiation: SPED assigned fewer vocabulary terms STANDARDS S.ChS.2: Students will use standard safety practices for all classroom laboratory and field investigations.
