2. Compound words eggs
The teacher uses plastic eggs to teach compound words.
She writes down one word on one side of an egg then another on the other, this way the students will combined them and find compound words.
Once the students have put the egg together and found the compound word they will need to record it on the worksheet.
This is good for the ELL because they are seeing and physically putting words together to create a compound word.

3. Swat a sigh word (Bilingual)
The student will do the activity in a group where the teacher will say a sigh word to the student and the student will need to use the fly swatter to swat the word said.
After this, the student will write the word in their white boards, the first student to swat it gets a point.
This is a fun an interactive way that student will learn sigh words in Spanish, this can be also use with English words.
