3. how much does college cost?
Yearly tuition at Ohio’s state supported colleges
approximately $7, ,000. ($9,700 average)
At an Ohio Private college
tuition can be $8,000- $48,000 ($22,743-- this figure includes 4 year technical schools, tend to be less expensive)
Room and board can add another $8,000-15,000 ($13,000)
And don’t forget books ($600-2,000)

* learn about applying for grants and scholarships
local scholarships available in January. One month to complete that application. Last year 81 seniors were awarded local scholarship- total of $127,000
We will provide the FAFSA to every senior. We encourage every senior attending college to complete the FAFSA.

Be certain to send your best scores to schools- if writing ACT not the best, send it along with the other

9. letters of recommendation/ student profile

You must TALK to the teacher, IN PERSON, and ask them to write your letter. see p. 10
Give teachers 2 week notice at minimum.
