12 Westinghouse Bankruptcy
Georgia Power and Westinghouse have, in principle, reached a new service agreement which allows for the transition of project management from Westinghouse to Southern Nuclear and Georgia Power once the current engineering, procurement and construction contract is rejected in Westinghouse's bankruptcy proceeding.   THOMAS Current Status

13 Westinghouse Bankruptcy
The interim assessment agreement will remain in place until June 3 while the new service agreement is finalized and all approvals are obtained. During this time, work will continue at the site and an orderly transition of project management will begin.  As previously stated, the company will take all actions necessary to hold Westinghouse and Toshiba accountable for their financial obligations.  Georgia Power will continue work to complete its full-scale schedule and cost-to-complete analysis and work with the project Co-owners (Oglethorpe Power, MEAG Power and Dalton Utilities) and the Georgia Public Service Commission to determine the best path forward for our customers.  THOMAS Current Status

14 Westinghouse Bankruptcy
Similar to Southern SCANA has in principle, reached a service agreement which allows for the transition of project management from Westinghouse to SCANA once the current EPC contract is rejected in Westinghouse's bankruptcy proceeding. The SCANA interim agreement is in place through June 26. The site work has continued with SCANA paying the subcontractor Bills during the interim period.   SCANA is working with the project Co-owner (Santee Cooper) to develop a cost-to-complete analysis and schedule and to determine the best path forward for our customers.  SCANA’s preference is to complete the units for the benefits that they would provide for our system, but all available options have to be considered. Goal is to reach a decision that will satisfy the growing generation needs while balancing the needs of the customer and stakeholders. JOHN SCANA Current Status
