The Game Plan
Congratulations! We have made it to the final week of school! I cannot believe we have soared through 35 weeks of school but here we are. I have enjoyed every moment of working with your student this year and I cannot wait to see them as 3rd graders next year. We will be enjoying our final four days together by engaging in several enjoyable activities including: creating memory books, class awards ceremony, and teach the teacher day. Let’s make this the best week of the year!
What We’re Practicing:
ELA: We will be reviewing several reading skills that we have worked with over the course of the school year. We will be working with Achieve 3000 in class and at home as well as RAZ Kids in order to develop our reading comprehension skills.
Writing: We will continue practicing Opinion Writing and persuading our readers through supporting sentences.
Math: We will begin developing our Multiplication skills through mystery puzzle activities.
Science: We will continue discussing and working with different forms of energy.
Social Studies: We will continue working with Economics concepts. e
Please remember that our classroom is a Peanut-Free Classroom. As a result, no snacks or birthday treats containing peanuts should be brought into the classroom!
