2 Executive Summary January 2016 Social Media Competitor Analysis
A outperforms all competitors in terms of social media activity. This is evident in the Klout score, which is a measure of how much influence each brand has. While B has more Facebook fans, they are not engaging with them much and they are not supporting their Facebook posts with ad dollars. This is a crucial tactic. C offers some support, but in our opinion not enough. While very small, D is nimble and beating all of us on Instagram which is the most trendy social network today (besides SnapChat). Note that D’s Klout score is higher than Bumble Bee’s despite almost no presence on Facebook. C has the lion share of YouTube subscribers and A follows closely behind.
