What to consider Student must be a U.S. citizen Students should have real interest in cultural exchange and curiosity about other cultures Applicants must make country-specific case For ETA, it is NOT necessary to be education major, though teaching experience is helpful Anthony Palmiscno, SHU 2016

Fulbright is looking for students who can work independently Students will normally apply for their first year following graduation Study abroad is NOT essential for placement Foreign language proficiency is NOT essential for all placements “Time in country” issue
