RU incremental drops will be uploaded to MOS monthly during the early part of a release lifetime. These are a great option to take if you want to avoid or at least reduce one-offs.
All incremental drop content will be included in the next quarterly RU.
Version takes that of the next RU and a timestamp will be included in the OUI abstract and track bug to distinguish one drop from another on an RU series.
One-offs not going away but please stay away from them as far as possible. Cloud envs do not tolerate one-offs and RU content will be more comprehensive than PSU’s in the past.

Approximately every 3-5 years there will be a “Long Term” release which will be supported for 5 years premier support and 3 years extended support.
The 18c and (likely) 19c releases will fall under the umbrella of Database Lifetime support as if they were the and patch sets.
