7 Staff Findings and Recommendation
Application 2970 complies with the requirements of the Comprehensive Plan and the Land Development Code, and further achieves the following: Provides a transition between commercial and agricultural districts Allows non-residential uses limited to those compatible and supportive of residential and rural districts Provides greater opportunity for future growth of the cultural center Recommendation Planning staff and the Planning and Land Development Regulation Board recommend to City Council approval of a rezoning from Estate-2 (EST-2) to Public/Semi-Public (PSP) and Preservation (PRS), for the Portuguese American Cultural Center property, Application 2970
