8. Group Roles
Captain – Keep everyone in the group involved, keep the work going, ensure everyone is able to participate, encourage anyone who seems disengaged
Time Keeper – Make sure your group is completing each task in a timely manner (you will need about 5-8 minutes per task)
Scribe – If the group cannot find a quote, recall a chapter, etc., lead the hunt to find it within the book, call out page numbers, read aloud quotes
Hype Helper – Keep the group motivated, be proactive, volunteer when tasks need to be completed, assist any other members with their responsibilities

9. Chapter 7-11 Discussion and Activity
Task List:
Together, write a 4-5 sentence summary of your assigned chapter
Make a list of the characters we see in the chapter, any significant changes we see, and their role in the action
Make a list of any symbols seen and what they might represent
Select at least two significant quotes and explain their meaning
Come up with a theme and a supporting quote for
The chapter
The overall book
Identify TWO prominent colors featured in the chapter and what their deeper meaning might be
