CIOs will become cloud orchestrators. Cloud will become the underpinning of fast changing product and services ecosystems. Containers and DevOps will be core facilitators. Some firms will become cloud companies in their own rights (i.e., Bosch, GE). CIOs will shift skill base. Customer journey mapping and design thinking will help close the experience gap. Agile and DevOps skills will drive speed around change.
