Charts – general notes Like in every OLE object, the graph itself should occupy the maximum place receivable. Don't minimize the area on the PPT level by cutting it, otherwise each modification makes a new cut necessary Double-click on the graph and adjust it to the place wanted by moving the dashed boarder outside You must turn off the option "Autoscale" (continuously in-/decreasing font size by modifying graph size) in Graph, if you like to have a standardized and reproducible font size Being on the PPT level, click once with the right mouse button on the object, activate "Format Object", turn off the point "Lock Aspect Ratio", because PPT remembers the area your object occupied in the beginning and tries to rescale it by varying the % ratio. This distortion can be eliminated by pushing "Reset" in the same menu (only of success when "LAR(1)" is switched off) Note: (1) LAR: Lock Aspect Ratio The absolute place occupied by an object is dominant. If you minimize e.g. the length of an object manually, PPT enlarges automatically the % number. If now LAR works and you try to reset the picture, this % ratio is fixed. You never get picture with 100% height and width. In the case mentioned above, the width will be below 100%.

Continuous Improvement of Strategic Sourcing
Running Head 12-Point Plain, Title Case Lessons learned Process Constructive “challenging” of status quo needs to be built into process Strict adherence to process guidelines needs to be reinforced regularly Key milestone dates need to be considered up-front Buyers Time commitment is high — but rewards are higher Aggressive negotiation strategies can be executed without jeopardizing operating strategies Team process may be viewed as “threat” to individual empowerment Suppliers First offers can always be improved upon Strict time lines keep suppliers focused and motivated Largest, current “partners” are most resistant to the process Continuous Improvement of Strategic Sourcing Senior Management Active involvement/commitment is key to success Communication of successes and visible encourage-ment throughout their organizations is essential
