3. Library Rules
Library hours are from 8:15 a.m. until 3:45 p.m.. The library is open 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after school ends.
Students may visit the library before and after school. During school, students must be accompanied by a teacher or have a pass signed by a teacher.
Food is not permitted to be eaten in the library unless prior arrangements have been made.

4. Check-out Procedures Students may check out 2 books at a time.
Books can be kept for up to 2 weeks and can be renewed as long as no one else is waiting for them.
Late fees are not assessed until a book is 2 weeks late. At that point the charge is 10 cents a day.
If a book is lost, students will be responsible for the replacement cost of the book. Additional books will not be loaned to students who have not paid for lost or damaged books. If a lost book was paid for and then found, students will be issued a refund for the amount paid.
Do you have Destiny at your schools? It allows you to renew and hold books online. We could mention it here, if so.

5. Books Are Our FRIENDS Please treat your book with care.
Do not jam them into your locker or backpack.
Do not fold over the pages to mark your place – use a bookmark instead.
Be careful with the book’s binding.
If a page gets torn, please either tape it or let the library staff know so they can repair it.
Books and liquids are not a good combination.
Food belongs in your mouth, not on our books.
