2. University today:
following the results of the General evaluation of higher education institutions and specialties RK in 2015:
- 8 th place among higher education institutions of the country;
- 4 first, 2 second, 3 third places in RK in a range of specialties;
since October, 2012 KGU is the member of the European Association of Universities;
annually on specialties of the engineering and agricultural directions more than 20 foreign professors give lectures;
one of 10th breakthrough higher education institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan will carry out training for the industrial enterprises of the country and provide scientific and technical support in the priority directions.

Trade management– covers the main range of issues of business administration
Agricultural Management - the rational management of the economy, production and social development of the agricultural enterprises of all legal forms
State management - the development of this program will enable students to form a holistic view of the forms and methods of public administration, the functioning of public authorities in modern conditions.
Logistic management –администрирование логистической системы и выполнять основные управленческие функции с использованием ИКТ. .

Specialists of the logistic companies were actively involved in the process of competence determination, development and program examinations:
Contracts on the organization of productive practice and practice-oriented lessons are signed with the enterprises.

6. Competence-based model of the graduate of an educational program "Logistic management"

natural phenomena and processes;
modern scientific methods of learning style;
ethical and legal norms;
modern system of normative legal acts;
environmental protection.

of educational process for ensuring the quality of training of specialists
Use of block and modular technology of development of subject matters with realization of SRWG/ERWG and productive practice as continuous kinds of activity throughout the entire period of training.
Technology pluses:
development of modules in a short time;
combination of various forms of theoretical training with SRWG/ERWG and productive practice for carrying out training in the conditions of the enterprises;
convenience of the invitation of foreign scientists;
Existence of essentially new work practice focused modular educational programs and the work practice focused system of training will allow to change the contents and quality of education in its essence – to carry out the training of specialists without the need for "finishing learning" at the enterprises

The catalog of elective disciplines for the 2- year and 1-year master programs is made.
The catalog of elective disciplines represents the systematized list of disciplines of a choice component and contains their short description.

30% of time of studies and ERWG is at the enterprises;
100% of time of work practice is at the enterprises;
Laboratory works in the research activity is on the enterprises' resources;
Performance and protection of the master thesis in conditions and on
resources of the production.
