As faculty do we view our students as a number or do we see them as an opportunity to transform, inspire & guide Transactional leaders tend to look at the world through a lens of punishment, rewards, and or exchange (“horse trading”) for motivation, while transformational leaders focus on listening, collaboration, and leading by example.
