3 Peace is not the absence of trouble, but the presence of Christ.
Sheila Walsh

4 He wants not only us but everyone saved, you know, everyone to get to know the truth we've learned:
 that there's one God and only one, and one Priest-Mediator between God and us - Jesus,   who offered himself in exchange for everyone held captive by sin, to set them all free. Eventually the news is going to get out.   This and this only has been my appointed work: getting this news to those who have never heard of God, and explaining how it works by simple faith and plain truth.   Since prayer is at the bottom of all this, what I want mostly is for men to pray - not shaking angry fists at enemies but raising holy hands to God.  And I want women to get in there with the men in humility before God,  1 Timothy 2:4-8

5 the day we become silent about things that matter.
Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter. - Martin Luther King

6 The important thing is not to stop questioning.
Curiosity has its own reason for existing. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity.     - Albert Einstein

7 Every Christian should be both conservative and radical;
conservative in preserving the faith and radical in applying it.  - John Stott

8 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall  not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send his son into the world to condemn the  world, but to save the world through him.   John 3:16-17
