Enter an R Click Search Icon

12 Enter Position Number Enter Position Number or search for your position in the same manner. Job Code will auto-populate Enter 1011 (rolla) For Recruiting Location

Business Unit = ROLLA Enter Department ID Enter Position Number (Job code should fill in automatically) Enter 1011 for Recruiting Location Enter Job Posting Title

17 Job Information Tab For Academic Job Postings, select 9 Month Academic or Academic in the Recruitment Contact field. If neither is chosen, Academic will default. Do not enter the Desired Start Date

Click the Search Icon for Employee ID (or enter the employee ID then Click the search Icon)

Rolla Faculty Posting Type Post to BOTH Internal and External

28 Remove Date **Note** All actions happen at Midnight (12:00AM) the morning of the date selected. Jobs which have an application deadline should be set to come down on the day AFTER the application deadline. i.e. If a job has an application deadline of July 4, the posting needs to be set to be removed on July 5th.

Click on Activities and Attachments

If not already there, go back to Details and Click Save and Submit

38 Beware Quick Approving Hiring Managers!!!
As soon as you hit Submit, the Hiring Manager will get an to approve the posting. If the Hiring Manager approves before you are done creating the approval chain, you will have to first, tell the manager not to approve yet, then call your HR partner to have them push it back, so you can complete the chain. To avoid this, there are two solutions: Quickly insert yourself as the second person in the approver chain and click save before adding the rest of the chain Tell the hiring manger BEFORE you click Submit that they are not to approve until you say (then enter the chain)

Enter the following Budget information in the Comment Text box. ADDITIONAL ADVERTISING SOURCES BUDGET INFO Total base salary and benefits. MoCode/Account. Fund/DeptID/ Program/Project.

Hiriing Manager and Recruiter Group Should be Automatically populated. Click the ‘+’ to add approvers between them

If you know the approver’s USERID, Type it in and click the Find Icon Otherwise, just Click the Find Icon

Click on the Approver

Enter Either the first part of the approvers Last Name or the first few letters of their USERID Click Search

Click Insert Repeat for all approvers in your chain

Assure Posting Title is correct Make sure posting Destinations are correct Click “Preview” Button

Assure the following have been entered Correctly: Hiring Department Application Deadline Full Time/Part Time Salary Range Job Description Minimum and Preferred Qualifications Click “Return to Previous Page” When done
