1. 2 Person 24’- Carry LD24’-2
The 24’ ladder is on the ground with the fly section down
The recruits will prepare for a low shoulder carry

2. 2 Person 24’- Carry
The tip person will face the tip of the ladder with the inside knee on the ground
approximately one rung from the tip of the ladder

3. 2 Person 24’- Carry
The butt person will face the tip of the ladder with the inside knee on the ground
approximately one rung from the butt of the ladder

4. 2 Person 24’- Carry
The butt person gives the command to prepare for a low shoulder carry
Using the rung of the ladder the recruits bring the ladder upright on the beam
If carrying a tool it should be placed on the upper beam and steadied with a hand until the ladder is on the shoulder

5. 2 Person 24’- Carry
The butt person gives the order for a low shoulder carry
Both recruits raise the ladder and pivot into the ladder resting the top beam on his/her shoulder
If carrying a tool it should be steadied with a hand at all times

6. 2 Person 24’- Carry
The butt person gives the command to move forward to the desired location
The butt person must protect the butt of the ladder while advancing

7. 2 Person 24’- Carry
The recruits must look over head to be sure that the area is clear
The butt person must sound out that the over head is clear
