2. War
In ancient times, Greece wasn't a single country like it is today. It was made up of lots of smaller states.
These states were always squabbling and often went to war. Sparta and Athens fought a long war, called the Peloponnesian War, from 431 to 404BC.

3. Greek gods
Hades brother to zeus.
Zeus was the king of the gods.

4. Food
The Greek diet was very healthy. Food in Ancient Greece consisted of grains, wheat, barley, fruit, vegetables, breads, and cake.so very healthy

5. Myths
What were Myths about?
They were about gods who controlled the elements of nature. The myths told tales about powerful Olympian gods, sea gods, woodland gods, sky gods, underwater gods, half-gods, human heroes, courageous or romantic adventures, betrayals, battles, wanderings, and so on.

6. Pets
The Greeks loved their pets, especially dogs! Like most modern societies, dogs were the most common pet in ancient Greece. There are many paintings and sculptures of dogs, and that tells us that dogs were important to the Greeks. The Greeks appreciated dogs for the company they provided. They also valued them as hunters. (Greeks didn’t feed their dogs, by the way. They were expected to catch their meals.) There are at least two stories in ancient Greek writing about the loyalty of a dog to its master. Archaeologists have even uncovered the graves of pets who seem to have been buried with treats!
