3 Forms Administered Grade 2 takes Level 8 Grade 5 takes Level 11

4 Online Testing Jason has sent the lockdown browser out to PC labs.
Any Mac labs will have it installed computer-by-computer by a Tech. Dianne is working to get the chromebooks in kiosk mode so that they can test the week of the 17th-21st.

5 Notes about online testing
Getting Started Tutorial should be taken before a subtest You must set up a separate testing session for the Getting Started Tutorial 1:20 is the recommended ratio for testing The level 8 test is proctor led; the level 11 can be either proctor led or audio led.

6 Accommodations (pp.7-10) No calculators, even if specified in IEP
Small group is OK Repeated directions OK for all students Assistance with online testing OK For ELLs, directions and item prompts may be administered in native language

7 Scheduling Recommendation of no more than 1 battery per day
3 days of testing With students testing over 3 days, be sure to look closely at your computer lab schedule.

18 Online Testing During Testing
Students log in to the online test via the Student Secure Browser, downloaded on the desktop. Proctor must keep the DataManager screen open at all times Recommended browsers are IE or Safari

20 Select your location. Then click “Search Staff”

21 A list of your teachers that were loaded appear.

22 Additional Staff You can add your learning liaison, Special Ed teachers, GT, ESL Their role is “teacher”

23 You can also add students who enrolled after 9/20/2016.

24 Creating Test Sessions

25 Data Manager Home Screen

26 Click on the Navigation Button. Select “Assessments”

27 Click on the Blue Proctor Session Button

28 Select the Grade. Select the test group. Select the Level.

29 Select the battery. 1st—Getting Started. Name the test: SCHOOL.TEACHER.GettingStarted.1 Click “Create Session” If you want 5th graders to use the audio version—you’ll need to select it here. If you have a group that will take Spanish; you’ll need a separate session.

30 Repeat for each subtest
Name tests as follows: SCHOOL.TEACHER.GettingStarted.1 (You’ve already created this one.) SCHOOL.TEACHER.Verbal.2 SCHOOL.TEACHER.Quant.3 SCHOOL.TEACHER.Nonverbal.4 The number indicates the order in which to give the assessments.

31 Only add the first of each subtest
Only add the first of each subtest. At the end of each subtest, proctors can link to the next subtest.

32 The blue hyper link starts the test.
Don’t click on the blue test name to “check” a test. Clicking this link “STARTS” the test. The test expires in 24 hours. If you click on it accidently, then delete it with the Red X and add it back in.
