ONYX 12.2 is a version update that builds upon the ONYX 12 platform that continues to improve performance, simplify production and enable automation

3 ONYX 12.2 Overview Product enhancements targeted for multi-roll printing and simplifying the user experience The efficiency gained through the added productivity and flexibility of a multi-roll device can be easily diminished because the print operator still has to spend too much time manually editing software settings. Printer Status Widget with bi-directional information Enhanced media and page-size handling Includes adding, editing and deleting custom page sizes without shutting down RIP-Queue Cutting workflow with multiple cutting path prefix’s and cutter device settings Without the right software to support a multi-roll device, the efficiency gained through the added productivity and flexibility are diminished because the print operator still has spend too much time manually editing software setting. 4 A new multi-roll UI for the printer operator
Easily configure multi-roll configurations with different media and page size combinations RIP-Queue will now list all enabled rolls for a device RIP-Queue will automatically switch active rolls to print the next job(s) that are waiting Interactive UI for allowing user to switch active rolls with one click A user interface to help the operator easily configure and identify critical printer information

Customized UI based on unique device capabilities UI is device specific and populated by bi-directional printer information Information can include Ink levels Printer status Media information Active and loaded roll for multi-roll devices Launch printer’s webpage Console messages Providing a custom experience to showcase the capabilities of a device

6 Simplified page size and media handling
Easily add, edit and delete page sizes without stopping production Will work with standard, multi-roll and tandem (side by side) roll configurations Quarry page sizes from supporting printers Automatically set media and page sizes in RIP-Queue’s printer configuration when connected with supporting printers Easily identify currently loaded media Loaded medias will always be identified at the top of a selection list Multi-roll devices will show all available active media

7 Cutting workflow and device updates
Automate more cutting workflows to save time and reduce manual entry Add multiple ‘Cut Path Prefix’ definitions, including custom colors” for cutting unique workflows Duplicate cutter setting to enable workflows for different application with the device. Select cut path style for auto generated tile outlines Device updates Roland GR cutter (new device) CET Andes Cutter (new device) QR Codes added to DYSS QR Codes added to MultiCamm Update to iCut style registration marks

Save file preparation time with new option in the file open dialog Set number of copies for print run Set percent magnification for job scaling Enabled for job rotation when opening jobs in RIP-Queue New Prints Due job meta-data field

11 How to get ONYX 12.2 For Current ONYX Advantage holders
An upgrade to ONYX 12.2 is included in ONYX Advantage during the contract period License updates can be requested by contacting Customers without ONYX Advantage ONYX software users not currently covered by an active ONYX Advantage software maintenance agreement may enroll by contacting their local reseller Customers who recently purchased ONYX 12.1 If purchased on or after April 1, 2017, customers can request an ONYX 12.2 update at no charge License sold on or after May 1, 2017 will already include support for 12.2 Updates must be requested prior to Oct 1, 2017

12 Upgrade Checklist when upgrading from ONYX 11 or older
Steps to ensure your customers have the best experience moving to ONYX 12.2 RIP station is running a 64-bit version of Windows® 7 or newer Use ONYX Key Look-up to check if a customer’s key is compatible with ONYX 12 NOTE: Some older license keys (distributed prior to 2008) will not support the upgrade to ONYX 12 and will require a replacement key be sent to the customer
