6. How do I avoid plagiarism?
Use quotes (sparingly) – using the exact words of an author, copied directly from a source word for word. Quotes must be cited in-text and within the Works Cited page.
Paraphrase – rephrasing the words of an author, putting their thoughts/ideas into your own words. Use your own voice. Paraphrasing must be cited in-text and within the Works Cited page.
Summarize – putting the main ideas of a writer or writers into your own words including only the main points. Summaries must also be cited.

We’re not saying that social media is bad in and of itself. The misuse of such technology is what makes it bad. For instance, there is the tendency to conform to what’s popular without considering whether it's right or wrong - as often seen in cases of cyberbullying. It's much easier for young people to verbally abuse each other online than it is face to face.
I ask myself – does this paragraph answer my research question “Does social media/networking have a positive or negative effect on children and teens?” Yes – it explains that social networking/media has a negative impact on children and teens.
