4 Objective of the project REFORM
Overall objective Improve the Regional Policy Instruments, supporting the funding and diffusion of SUMP Improve the use of Structural Funds by developing policies that overcome current limits (technical, competence, knowledge, normative) Set up policies in regional harmonized frameworks for SUMP development Ensure coherence with large scale territorial planning instruments and integration with other tools

5 Main Goal of REFORM Improve the Regional Policy Instruments, by supporting the funding and diffusion of SUMP: Making use of the key role of Regions (large scale territorial planning, infrastructure development and mobility management) Preparing 4 Action Plans that will provide interventions for reducing carbon footprint in mobility systems

6 Improvement of policy instrument formulation
RCM ROP SUMPs are developed locally from the main cities of the Region. Region of Emilia Romagna Region of Central Macedonia RER ROP– Axis 4 SUMPs are developed locally from the main cities of the Region. Greater Manchester Operational Program South – Netherlands (OP South) SUMPs are developed centrally from the Region taking input from the main cities. Parkstad Limburg The Greater Manchester Strategy SUMPs are developed centrally from the Region taking input from the main cities.
