4. Firstly we checked the sugar content in the products we sell.

6. So what are we doing about it?

7. We also decided to find some alternative products
After researching the sugar content and taste testing we have decided on three new snacks… .
Special K bar, which has 8.1g of sugar
Jordans Bar, which has 10.1g of sugar
School Bar, which has 8.2g of sugar

9. As well as changing our highest content sugar products for a lower sugar substitute we wanted to do more to promote our school as healthy eating.
We decided, after consultation with Mr Martin, to try out
Fruity Friday !
So, from this Friday we will be selling apples and tangerines in Funky Fruits!
We appreciate how popular popcorn sales are so this will now be available on Wednesdays

10. In addition to our findings we decided to do a survey of what other snacks pupils were currently eating to see if we were offering a healthier alternative…
